The staff at stylist.com seems to be knowledeable , up to date on where to get what, and  sometimes plain silly. Like this Tim Gunn Bobblehead Giveaway story, or this awesome article on Ripped, trashed and generally abused black jeans…for less than $100. This is the type of style blog your fashion newbie can easily navigate through and relate to. It isn’t as high brow as Vogue’s Style.com which is also a personal favorite.
